Your Role: Responsibilities of a Tote Cleaner
As a Tote Cleaner, you will be responsible for:
- Lifting: You’ll lift boxes that weigh up to 30 pounds.
- Cleaning: You’ll keep things clean by cleaning boxes and sweeping trailers.
- Paperwork: You’ll do some paperwork, like filling out forms.
- Safety: You’ll work with the safety team and follow the rules.
- Flexibility: You’ll be able to change your work schedule as needed.
- Physical Work: You’ll need to lift, push, or pull heavy things.
Working Conditions:
- Temperature-Controlled Environment: 34°F – 36°F (1°C – 2°C)
- Active Role: You’ll be on your feet throughout the shift.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: You don’t need any experience, but it’s helpful.
- Education: You should have a high school diploma or something similar.
- Skills: You need to be good at managing your time and organizing things. You should also be able to work alone and follow directions. You need to be good at doing many things at once, helping customers, and staying focused.
- Physical: You’ll need to lift things that weigh up to 50 pounds, and sometimes 100 pounds. You’ll need to stand, walk, and do the same movements over and over. You need to have good eyesight, including side and depth vision.
- Attendance: You need to be at work on time and regularly.
