Job Responsibilities
- As a Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on facility equipment
- Utilizing a variety of tools and equipment for maintenance tasks
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Modifying or building equipment based on blueprints and schematics
- Documenting maintenance activities and generating reports
- Collaborating with team members to improve operational efficiency
- Operating forklifts, loaders, and other equipment as needed
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment machines and equipment.
- Working well by doing regular checks, finding problems before they happen, and fixing them when they break.
- Use different tools to fix things.
- Find and fix problems with electricity, moving parts, water, and air systems.
- Make or change parts using drawings and instructions.
- Write down what you do and what you find.
- Work with others to make things better.
- Drive forklifts and other machines when needed.
- Make sure everything is safe and clean.
Job Requirements
- To do this job, you need to:
- Be strong enough to lift to 50 pounds.
- Be okay working inside and outside.
- Know how to fix things.
- Be able to use a computer.
- Be ready to work different hours, including late nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
It would be helpful to have worked on fixing things like welding, putting pipes together, or working with water pressure. Knowing safety rules, like checking for dangers before starting work, is good. Having a certificate or degree in fixing things is helpful. It would be great if you had experience working very carefully on machines.
